Brad has been the Lead Pastor of Oak Grove Church since 2009. He began his studies at Briercrest Bible College in Caronport, SK, then continued on to receive his Master of Divinity and Masters in Theology from Western Seminary in Portland, OR, and lastly his Doctor of Ministry from Dallas Theological Seminary in Dallas, TX. In addition to preaching and teaching, Brad also facilitates the church vision casting, leadership training, and strategic planning. His spiritual gifts include teaching, leadership, counseling, helps, and mentoring. Brad has a passion for empowering others to embrace a relationship with Christ, therefore helping them fulfill their responsibility of pursuing Christ’s mission in the world. Brad, along with his wife Barb, have two kids, Ryan (married to Gabriela) and Colleen.
Melody Lynch worked as a single staff woman with The Navigators on five campuses in her 20s. After raising her family of four children, she has leaned back into working with women at the University of Wisconsin. She has been involved for many years in a vigorous women’s Bible study and desires to help others do the same.
Bruce has been on staff with The Navigators for many years and has led Collegiate, 20’s, and Neighborhood ministries. He and his wife Cindy have 3 children and eight grandchildren. We are excited to learn together with other grandparents in this “workshop discussion” on ways to connect and pray for the next generation!
Since 2002 life coaching has been foundational both in Jeanette’s work and ministry over the years from Hawaii to Minnesota, in commercial real estate and co-founding a women’s health center. Jeanette and her husband Dennis have been on staff with the Navigators since the mid 80’s and have served in a wide variety of ministry roles. They are currently part of Nav Neighbors in Northfield, Minnesota.
Kevin’s life motto has become, “Living Loved,” since being redeemed by Jesus’ perfect sacrifice in his early 20’s. He and his wife Pam have four married children and nine grandchildren. After planting two churches and serving as a senior pastor for over twenty years, a missions director for two years and living in Mongolia for almost three years, Kevin now enjoys his role as the pastor of adult ministries of a larger church in the Twin Cities, where he focuses on evangelism, discipleship and training of disciple-makers of all ages in the local church. One of his favorite hobbies is biking when it’s 60 degrees or warmer!
Christine Chow has been evangelizing and discipling international students, immigrants and refugees in Minnesota for over 20 years. She served as an ESL teacher to Somali refugees through Somali Adult Literacy Training for 10 years, was on a church-planting team together with her husband at New City of Nations Church and is currently serving as a biblical counselor with Cedar Cove Counseling Ministry in the Twin Cities. She works with individuals and families on a variety of mental health struggles and has completed her Masters of Art in Counseling at Westminster Seminary in Pennsylvania. She volunteers frequently with the Hospitality Center to do outreach to international students at the University of Minnesota and also leads workshops on mental health, marriage and parenting topics for her church and other organizations in the Twin Cities.
Pang Foua Rhodes is the Spiritual Growth Director at RiverLife Church in St Paul, MN. Pang Foua has been invited to sit at tables she never dreamed of as a little refugee girl! But she still enjoys reading all night, sleeping in, window shopping, and laughing and crying with great friends and food.
Annie joined The Navigators in 2023 with the 20s ministry. She loves gathering young adults together in community to grow closer to the Lord and to walk with Jesus. Originally from the Colorado mountains, she is an avid skier. Now a Wisconsinite, she has taken to water skiing. In the summer you’ll find her atop a 3-high waterski pyramid with the local waterski team.
Judy and her late husband George had a very fruitful disciple-making ministry in Uganda and Kenya for many years before relocating back to the US. In recent years Judy has served the Navigators, teaching and developing materials on Sexual Health and Wholeness.
Carl is a father, husband, youth mentor, and church planter. This was not always his story: he was a member of the 5% Nations, a large group of Muslims started by Clarence X that is vibrant in Black communities. Carl came to the confession of Christianity in 2010. Carl has traveled to over 22 states and over 100 churches sharing the message, “I am crucified with Christ”. Carl has a mission to abolish food insecurity in major cities starting with St. Paul, MN, believing that race and economic justice are tied to food. Carl often engages in circles and individuals cross-culturally to see the body of Christ work in unity.
